Donations can be accepted until March 7, 2023 to eliminate campaign debt. We have approximately $33,000 in campaign debt. Campaign debt is defined as documented in kind debt incurred during the campaign. It also includes debt that the campaign owed for services and goods before November 8, 2022 that were not billed until after November 8, 2022. because they were not billed for the campaign expenditure. This can also include in kind contributions during the campaign that have not been repaid.
A truck driver friend told me this years ago: “A truck delivers and replaces food on grocery shelves every three days”. Meaning, if our trucks are not operating and shut down for more than three days, we start running out of supplies at our grocery stores, general stores, etc.

Visited the William F Green VA home in Bay Minette Wednesday and Commissioner Kent Davis and Ms Justice gave us a tour. We have four homes in the state with a fifth opening in Enterprise in 2024.
It made me proud to see a real home for our Veterans, complete with a barber shop, chapel, food halls, library, courtyard, and more.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of getting to speak with the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department at their monthly meeting, where I updated them on legislation we passed this year that had specific impacts on our volunteer fire departments across the state.

We are saddened to hear about Jimmy Buffet’s passing. Our deepest condolences are sent to his family and our dear Lucy.
Jimmy Buffet meant a lot to our area. My sister and I were just reminiscing about his concert he put on for Baldwin County at the beach after the oil spill. Baldwin County was reeling, and it was just really depressing here. Jimmy put on a free concert for the people. We needed that concert. He and the music lifted our spirits. And this was something he could always do for his music lovers. We all loved him and will miss him greatly.
Jimmy, you never failed to remember where you came from and remained a good son of the Gulf Coast throughout your life and career.

I also attended that concert. And yes, he lifted all our spirits in a time of need. 💔😢🏝️🙏❤️
When I was a teenager, we (father, father's friends, me - the kid) used to meet him at the fish River bridge at his sister's place to listen to some band he was considering for his label. Those were fun times. Jimmy was a great talker and his sister is a great host.
Lucy, sorry for you and your family's loss. A man of the people and love of music. May God rest his soul. 🙏🙏
